BKS Iyengar always described Yoga as an Art. Over my yoga life and professional careers as an Iyengar Yoga teacher and graphic designer I definitely agree that yoga is a practice that feeds creative thinking hugely. New pathways are opened by the very means of exploring asana and this renews our physical and mental processes. Opening to other ways of seeing, feeling and intuiting. On this retreat, myself and artist Rebecca Baird are collaborating to offer a dual creative experience. Rebecca, also a long time Iyengar yoga practitioner, is a printmaker who had run many courses and classes in Sydney's inner city for over 3 decades. One might say, well… I can’t draw or I have no interest in making any thing artistic, and this is like yoga in the beginning. We see that it’s got something for us and we know at the least if we just start, we can know something else.
Retreat Costs & Inclusions
A deposit of $200 is required to block a space. The Early bird rate is $600 if paid in full by February 1, 2020. $680 full rate due by April 1, 2020.

- 2 nights twin share accommodation with private ensuite bathroom.
- All Yoga tuition & guided meditation classes
- Art classes & personal tuition
- All vegetarian meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, tea, coffee, etc.
